Thursday, December 4th — Crystal Healing Part II w/Marisol Zax. Although each of us has the infinite power of the universe within ourselves, we tend to find it easier to accept support from that which is outside. Crystals, the blossoms of the mineralogical earth, can be a powerful source of energetic enhancement. In this experiential workshop you will delve deeper into the various types of crystals and the knowledge of how to use their powers to heal body, mind and spirit. Learn more about your own ability to facilitate healing with crystals and stones. This workshop is an excellent continuation of introduction to crystal healing, understanding chakras and auras, crystal journeying, basic crystal healing layouts, energy sensing and the use of dowsing and pendulums in crystal healing. Saturday, December 13th — Introduction to Polynesian Dance w/Nefertiti. This holiday season experience the Aloha Spirit through dance and culture with Kenamaka. Enjoy the drums from Tahiti, the Hawaiian slack key guitar and the beat of the Polynesian Islands adding to your repertoire two new choreography’s. This workshop is suitable for all ages and levels; no prior dance experience is required. The focal point of this workshop will be basic Tahitian dance steps combining with fluent foot work and graceful hand movements to tell a story the Hula Auana way. A loose knee high skirt and tank top are recommended but not required. Nefertiti, born in Venezuela of Spanish Gypsy descent, was instilled with various art forms from early childhood. Since then she has created her personal eclectic fusion from the many cultures observed during her travels. In 2007 she founded Etnia Fusion, a company dedicated to promoting her special brand in the performing arts. 4-5:30PM. Cost is $25 or $20 by 12/12.

Sunday, December 14th — Conscious Communication; The Art of Kind and Effective Communication w/Maya Malay. Kind, conscious and effective communication is essential and necessary for our self expression, success in our lives and harmony in our relationships. It gives you the ability to be effective and empowered in your interactions and in your relationships. It is one of the greatest character traits that one can develop. In this workshop you’ll discover how to be impeccable with your speech, feel confident speaking and how to clearly articulate your communication. You’ll also be provide with the tools to accomplish conflict resolution, how to deal with difficult people and over come timidity when speaking. Join this afternoon of expanding communication skills, self understanding and how to be most effective in your communication. Maya Malay has been teaching for 20 years. Through expressive movement—Nia empowers people to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Nia as a fitness program combines elements from the dance arts: Jazz, Duncan Dance, Modern Dance, elements from the Martial arts: Aikido, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Doe and elements of the healing arts: Yoga, the Alexander technique, and Feldenkrais.
